About
A commute that became a community.
TechieRide is a referral-only corporate carpooling community in Hyderabad — and the education, environment and community work it made possible.
2011 · where it began
It started with a shared ride.
Four techies, commuting from Meerpet to HITEC City every day, decided to carpool. The car filled up. Then a second car. Then a group.
What began as a way to split fuel became a community with a structure: every member joins on the reference of another, and for every forty members there is a TechieRide Representative.
